What is Web Development: वेब डेवलपमेंट क्या है?

Web development is the process of creating websites and applications for the Internet or any private network. Apart from website design, it also includes programming and coding. This keeps the website responsive and ensures that any information that appears in search results has previously been posted to the website. Website building is the responsibility of programmers. Any student, regardless of their field of study—science, business, or arts—can learn web programming. Web development includes building tools for social networking platforms, apps, e-commerce websites, and content management systems (CMS), in addition to static web pages.

If I had to put web development in basic English, I would say that it simply refers to building a website. Learning how to build websites, programs, and applications for the Internet.

Frontend development and backend development are the two categories that web development falls under.

Frontend Development:-

The front end of a website refers to the area where users directly engage. The "client-side" of the application is another name for it.

Roadmap for the front end:-

1. HTML- We can arrange information logically and hierarchically using HTML, a valuable tool. It aids in laying the groundwork for a webpage, making sure that everything is properly ordered and arranged.A webpage's HTML code acts as its framework. It gives the page structure and definition, which enables browsers to render the page properly. The web would not exist as a platform for disseminating and gaining access to information in a meaningful and structured manner without HTML.

2. CSS: Cascading Style Sheets, sometimes known as CSS, is a straightforwardly built language that makes it easier to present web pages. Our website is styled with it.

3. JavaScript: JavaScript is a scripting language that is utilised to provide our website with dynamic behaviour.

4. Bootstrap: Web designers may construct engaging and adaptable websites with the help of Bootstrap, an outstanding tool. Making beautiful websites is quite simple thanks to this handy toolset of pre-built elements and styles. The websites of today are optimised for all browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, for all screen sizes (Desktop, Tablets, Phablets, and Phones), as well as for Firefox and Chrome.

Backend development:-

A website's backend is its server side. It is a portion of the website that visitors cannot access or see. Data is organised and stored using it.

Roadmap for the front end:-

1. PHP: PHP functions as a trustworthy and potent assistant for web developers. It gives them the ability to develop dynamic websites that can communicate with visitors, manage data, and offer a smooth browsing experience.

2. Java: One of the most well-liked and often-used programming languages is Java. It can scale up very well.

3. Python: Python is a programming language that enables quick work and more effective system integration.

4. Node.js: JavaScript code can be run outside of a browser using the Node.js runtime environment, which is free and cross-platform.

NOTE:   A web developer creates a website from scratch, that is, starting from the beginning. They also work on maintaining and managing the website's portfolio, pages, and articles. As a beginner, a web developer typically earns around Rs 1.2 lakh annually. However, the average salary for web developers is approximately 3.1 lakh rupees.
